Transportation around Oulu

The university campus is located about 6.5 km's from the city center. The railway station and the long distance bus terminal are in the city center. Local buses operate frequently between city center and the university. Look at public transportation to find your way with the local buses. Oulu is known for being a bicycle -friendly city. Most hotels offer bikes for their guests for free or for a small charge. The bike lanes are cleared from snow frequently, so if you are up to an Oulu winter experience, we do recommend to hop on a bike.
